I started my real estate career in 1994, as a housing consultant, in Bend Oregon. This was an invaluable experience in giving me insight into not only how homes are built but how diverse people's tastes can be with regards to their needs, and desires. I provided professional assistance to clients covering every detail of creating their new home: from choosing the right floor plan, colors and amenities for their new home: helping obtain city or county building permits, providing lists of contractors for soil percolation tests, land surveys for property borders: assisting with obtaining loan approval and working through check lists of required documentations to obtain a loan, and much more.
In June, 2004 I stepped out of the role of housing consultant to full time residential real estate Broker and haven't looked back.
Buying or selling real estate is occasionally a roller coaster adventure. Every transaction is different. One can take us to the pinnacle of joy and success: what's more exciting that getting multiple offers on a property within hours of going on the market? Another can be very difficult to work through.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a real estate Broker is meeting people where they are in their level of understanding and expectations regarding the transaction process. Making the route an overall positive experience is inevitably the result of transparent business practices and clear communication. The reason I find this rewarding is that the relationship with my client evolves from being your trusted Broker to being a person you come to rely on. This enriches my life and creates a happy client/ friend.
